Mini-THON & Falcon Pride Friday
Friday, March 29
Fun-filled, no-sitting dance marathon held during school to celebrate the total money East Hanover has raised to help beat childhood cancer. Wear your new Mini-THON shirt or blue & white. Look for more information coming home soon.
Daddy/Daughter Dance
April 6 at 6:00 p.m.
Join us on the red carpet! Admission is free, but RSVPs are required. Look for the forms to come home this week. A committee is forming to begin the planning of this special dance. If you are interested in helping, please email Jaime Pollock.

Bunny Breakfast & Coloring Contest |

Who wouldn't want to eat breakfast with the Easter Bunny? Please join The Park and Rec Board and The Lion's Club for their annual Bunny Breakfast and Coloring Contest on Saturday, April 13.
To attend, click the here to download the registration form. Please fill it out and Return the completed form to the Township Building by Tuesday, April 9.

Lights, camera, action! Join us on the red carpet for the Daddy/Daughter Dance on Saturday, April 6 from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. in the school gymnasium. Admission is free and will feature a DJ, light refreshments, a selfie photobooth and more. If dad is unable to join your student, please invite another adult - grandpa, uncle, etc. This event is limited to students at East Hanover in grades K-5 and an adult.
Although the event is free we do need you to RSVP by Monday, March 25. Click the link to download the registration forms.
Roses will be available for pre-purchase for $2 each and passed out at the end of the evening. If you are interested in helping, please email Jaime Pollock.

East Hanover Elementary's Mini-THON will take place next Friday, March 29 during school. It will be an afternoon of dancing and fun.
There are opportunities to support Mini-THON:

1) Penny Wars: We will be having our annual Penny Wars Race the week leading up to the event benefitting both EH Cares causes. Look for full details in next week's newsletter about this fun competition!
2) Donate: All donations go directly to Four Diamonds and children fighting cancer at Penn State Hershey Children's Hospital. You can send a check to school (made payable to Four Diamonds or to East Hanover PTO, with Mini-THON in the memo).
3) Donor Drive: Students can set up a personal fundraising page on Four Diamonds DonorDrive website. This is optional and there is no minimum fundraising required. Everyone who registers and shares the page with family and friends via email or social media will get a PRIZE. Find directions to complete your DonorDrive on page 2 here.

Looking for something different for lunch? So were the East Hanover teachers! They have arranged for a food truck to visit East Hanover Elementary once a month and have kindly invited parents & family members (not students) to have the opportunity to purchase lunch from the truck as well!
Lunch is available from 11:30AM - 1:00PM from the following vendors on the following days:
March 27: Philadelphia Hoagie Co & Makin' Whoopie Pies
April 4: 717 Taco
May 1: Philadelphia Hoagie Co & Makin' Whoopie Pies
May 23: 717 Taco
If you are able to take advantage of visiting the food truck -- and they hope you do -- they kindly ask that if you see a teacher, you let them cut to the front of the line so that they can get their lunch and get back to the class before their lunch break ends! |
