*A few Arista Opportunities for in-school service:

  • March 22 - March PA Bake Sale, click here for information.
  • March 29 - End of March, Drama Snack Sale.  Donated baked goods needed.
  • Reminder: If your child makes a home-made treat for the snack sale, be sure to remember to include your in-school service ARISTA form, with all slots filled in (Student’s name, class, description of service, date of service and 1 hour for time.) Students should remember that the max hours for bake sale credit for arista, is 2 hours per school year.
  • Wagner’s Read-a-thon has an Arista opportunity for 2 hours of service, click here for details.

*What’s happening this week?

  • March 16th – We had the 1st out of 5 classes of Stop Motion Animation.
  • March 18th – 22nd Wagner’s Scholastic Book Fair is going on.  So far, click here to see when your child’s ELA class will be stopping by to browse for books. If your child’s class is NOT on this schedule, just email the ELA teacher, to inquire about the day they plan to bring them to the book fair. More details about volunteering at the Book Fair, or for info on donating used books, click here.
  • March 11th – 25th - City Harvest Food Drive: The Wagner community is invited to help support the efforts of City Harvest, to alleviate hunger in our community. Click   here for flyer. So far, not too much has been collected as so many things are going on at this time of the year.
  • March 19th grade High School Workshop; click here for remaining dates and links.
  • March 21st – PA Meeting, followed by Math & ELA State Exam Prep Parent Workshop. 5:30pm in the library.
  • March 22nd - The 8th grade Black & White Dance, 3pm-4:45pm. Dance is free but Donations needed, see bottom of flyer for more information. Click here for flyer.
  • March 22 – PA Bake Sale, click here for information.
  • The Family Surveys are being collected at school.


Celebrations!! Go Wolves!!

  • The winners of this month’s Spirit Day are: Classes: 613, 624, 714, 733, 823 & 834!! Go Wagner!
  • Congratulations to the Girls’ Basketball Team, who won the Manhattan Championship last Saturday vs. East Side Middle School.
  • Congratulations to the Wagner Chess Team who are 6th in the State!!! The following students brought home an extra trophy (Carrier Champions): Ben, Niki, Kai, Alex and Alex!! Thanks for representing Wagner in the state!! Go Wolves!!
  • Congratulations to all the following teams that are the Manhattan Champions!!!AMAZING!!
