The Harrisburg Senators want to welcome Families of the
Lower Dauphin Elementary Schools. The
Elementary School Band’s will perform pre-game & the

We are looking for parent volunteers to help run the superhero themed stations. If you are interested in helping, please email Mrs. Garver at kgarver@ldsd.org by Tuesday, May 22. Families are also welcome to come cheer on your student.

Parent's Book Club
The East Hanover Elementary Parent's Book Club will be started their second session on Monday - May 7, but it's not to late to catch up!
We are reading, "Masterminds & Wingmen" by Rosalind Wiseman-
a book designed for parents about how boys interact with each other and how to help your sons navigate boy world.
Meetings will be from 8:40 - 9:10 a.m. in the school library on the following dates:

Tuesday, May 29 (Memorial day make-up)
+ Monday, June 4* last session

The East Hanover Elementary PTO will host Moms & Muffins on Thursday, May 17 at 8:00 a.m. in the school cafeteria. It is a fun time to enjoy muffins and marvelous conversation with the one you love. If mom is unable to join your student, feel free to bring a sister, aunt, grandma, or other magnificent & meaningful person!

The May Fun Run will take place on Saturday, May 19 at the East Hanover Township Park Walking Trail. The race will start promptly at 8:30 a.m. The Fun Run is FREE for all students of East Hanover Elementary and just $5.00 for all other participants (parents, siblings not attending EHE).
TIMING:
. New Registration: 8:00AM (did not send in a form)
. Pre- Registration Check In: 8:10AM (sent in a form)
. Line-Up: 8:20AM
. Race Starts: 8:30AM
All registrants MUST complete the registration form and have a parent/guardian signature to run. Pre-registration closed April 20 but you can still register race-day morning. You will need a parent/guardian to complete your registration form and stay with you until the end of the event.
PRIZES: 1st, 2nd, & 3rd place (boys & girls) in each grade will receive a medal. And the classroom with the most students who participate will receive an ice cream party!
RAFFLE: A raffle will be held after the race. Each East Hanover Elementary student present will be entered to win. Sorry, but non-East Hanover Elementary Students will not be eligible for the raffle prizes.
Further race details such as a map of the course, finish line procedures, and other pertinent information will be sent this week.

1) Tennis Shoes: Size 11 - 4
2) Pants (preferably with an elastic waist): Any Size 4T - Youth 14.

Parents and guardians should have received information in the mail regarding registering students who are returning to Lower Dauphin schools. The deadling to complete this on-line paperwork is Friday, June 8. This is earlier than in previous years.
