Book Fair Coming Soon!
Buy One, Get One FREE
We are so excited for another Buy One, Get One FREE Book Fair at East Hanover! If your student shops at the fair, they may select one item and receive another item of equal or lesser value FREE!

Details:
This year's spring book fair will be held April 27 - May 3. Your student may shop during their normal scheduled library class. (Click here to view a schedule). Or you may attend Family Shopping Night on Tuesday, May 1 from 4:00 - 5:30 p.m.

Payment:
As with other fairs, you may send in cash or check made payable to East Hanover PTO in an envelope with your child's name. Make sure to include TAX in your calculations. If you are sending in a check, we kindly ask that you include a note with the amount you are allowing your child to spend.

There is also a new digital payment option for students called eWallet! You create an account on our book fair homepage (http://www.scholastic.com/bf/easthanoverld) and load money onto your child's account with a credit or debit card. You will then be prompted to print out a barcode that can be used to access those funds when your child shops. Any unused money gets credited back to your account at the end of the book fair. If you do not have access to a printer, Mrs. Conley, the librarian, can print the eWallet codes each morning.

Online Shopping:
If you are unable to attend the Book Fair in person, we invite you to shop our online Book Fair here.

Volunteering:
If you have your clearances on file in the district office and are interested in volunteering at the Book Fair, please sign up here.

We look forward to seeing you and your family at our Book Fair and we thank you for your participation! All purchases benefit our school!
Final Box Top Contest!

Box Tops for the "April Showers/May Flowers" Box Top Contest are due Monday, May 7. Clipping, collecting and submitting  Box Tops for Education earns our school a substantial amount of financial support each year. You can cut box top labels from any of these  participating products. Each box top is worth $.10 cash to our school.

If your child turns in a  collection sheet with at least 5 eligible Box Tops on it by the 7th they will be awarded a participation prize. Each child that submits 25 eligible Box Tops will be entered to win a May Day Prize Pack! One prize pack per grade will be awarded. Please check the date on the box top and send in only ones that have not expired.

Although labels can be sent in at anytime and placed in the large soup can near the main entrance of the school, four box top drives are done each year. This is the final Box Top Drive for the 2017-18 school year. We so appreciate your support!

If you have questions regarding Box Tops or are able to help tally Box Tops, please contact Silent Fundraising Chair, Suzie Hengst at  suzie.h1893@gmail.com

Also, as a reminder Campbell's Soup has discontinued their Labels for Education Program. We will no longer be collecting these labels.

Volunteers Needed
In order to make May Day a success, we need your help. Please consider helping us in the following ways:

1) Goodies for the Bake Sale: Adults & kiddos alike look forward to the May Day Bake Sale! We would appreciate your donation of brownies, cookies, cupcakes, etc. Store-bought or homemade! Please just wrap your items in appropriate ready-to-sell size. Click here for more info and to download the Bake Sale Donation Form.
2) Raffle Basket Donations: Each grade has signed up to collect items for a themed basket to be raffled off at May Day. Tickets for the raffle will be available to purchase at May Day and all proceeds go back to support the PTO. If each student brings in one small item, our baskets will be overflowing. Donations for the basets are due Friday, May 4. To view your child's theme and see more info on the basket raffles, please click here.
3) Be an Event-Day Volunteer: Man-power is one of our greatest needs for May Day. We cannot do this large, fun event without our volunteers to help set-up, run games, work our bake sale, assist with clean up, etc. Please sign up for a volunteer shift here.
You don't want to miss these events!
