Parent's Book Club
The East Hanover Elementary Parent's Book Club will be starting their second session on Monday, May 7.
We will be reading, "Masterminds & Wingmen" by Rosalind Wiseman-
a book designed for parents about how boys interact with each other and how to help your sons navigate boy world.
Meetings will be from 8:40 - 9:10 a.m. in the school library on the following dates:
+ Monday, May 7
+ Monday, May 14
+ Monday, May 21
+
Tuesday, May 29 (Memorial day make-up)
+ Monday, June 4* last session
Copies of the book are available to “check-out” and borrow from Mrs. Bruce. Please email her here to reserve your copy or with any questions.

May Fun Run Pre-Registration Now Open |

The May Fun Run will take place on Saturday, May 19 at 8:30 a.m. at the East Hanover Township Park Walking Trail. The Fun Run is FREE for all students of East Hanover Elementary and just $5.00 for all other participants (parents, siblings not attending EHE).
All registrants MUST complete the registration form and have a parent/guardian signature to run (download the registration form here). If you do not get a chance to pre-register for the run, you can still register race-day morning.
Note: You must have your registration submitted by April 20 to receive your free t-shirt. This deadline will NOT be extended.
PRIZES: 1st, 2nd, & 3rd place (boys & girls) in each grade will receive a medal. And the classroom with the most students who participate will receive an ice cream party!
RAFFLE: A raffle will be held after the race. Each East Hanover Elementary student present will be entered to win. Sorry, but non-East Hanover Elementary Students will not be eligible for the raffle prizes.
Further race details such as a map of the course, finish line procedures, and other pertinent information will be sent home 2 weeks prior to the race. Check the PTO website.

Although we try to minimize the impact of PSSA testing in our building, it sometimes can be a source of stress for our students. Getting plenty of rest and eating a good breakfast can be helpful during our testing days.
